Royal Mail "S" service

Post by rob541 »

Does anyone know what this is? Apparently it is a new service, but seems to be so new it's not on Google or the Royal Mail website? 95% of parcels are supposed to be guaranteed within 2 working days...

Only ask as an ebay seller has said my item has been dispatched using this service, nothing came with the normal post so am wondering if it might come on a later delivery via van as per some special delivery items? :pray

I think it means Standard Parcel. If it is this service, it can take up to 4 days to arrive. Ask royal mail on tweeter.

Thanks for that. I looked that up and it was £4.41 for up to 2kg. My item is very light and the postage fee was £1.95, ironically it was £2.95 for first class post, will try as you suggest! Thanks!
