I purchased something on ebay early last week, it was posted on last friday via international signed-for with tracking ref. rj596530726gb. However, the tracking status hasn't been updated since the date that seller actually sent out my item. it always gives out "We have received your item, posted on 18/02/11 and it is being processed for delivery abroad." does it mean my item is still in UK? Could anyone here please help me to check the backlog, c what happened to my parcel. Thanks!!
Your IP says austrlia so not sure if the Darwin problems are still affecting your area as I cantt narrow down your location. However all is not lost Royal Mail do have an very good twitter team at @royalmail follow them and send then a direct message and they should be able to help.
We are an unofficial site so we cant get an audit trail from your tracking number - the twitter people are an official part of the business so will be able to see the audit trail on their systems.

I'm in Adelaide. Darwin problems wouldn't affect my area since we got a bunch of visitors from UK just arrived this morning, came straight to our school after they got off the plane which means the airway is totally okay. I posted my enquiry here coz I saw another post on this forum which is similar to mine and it got solved by someone here. thanks for your information. :)

International Signed For isn't trackable once it leaves the UK:
Visible - Royal Mail’s Track & Trace provides up to date visibility until the item leaves the UK. But please be aware this works for Airmail only and is not available when sending by Surface Mail.

so chances are that it has left the UK and is en-route to Australia.
thanks for reply. i asked RM on twitter, according to the reply "@jeremyshi Hi, although I realise it's last been tracked at Heathrow, it's most likely been sent overseas." then i asked if it's on a plane to au now, they said no further information could be found. sigh. i also rang up australia post, they said they hadn't got any record for my parcel....
Could anyone here please help me to check the backlog, c what happened to my parcel. Thanks!!
