Hi,
Posted a parcel to a customer on 09/11/10 - have checked proof of postage and housenumber/post code are correct. It still hasn't arrived. Is it true that there are delays to delivery in the Warrington area?

Re: Warrington area delays?
Have not heard of any problems with the Warrington Delivery Offices - however Warrington Mail Centre has recently had Crewe and Liverpool Mail Centres work moved to them when thy closed. That may be delaying it a little.
It may also be that some of the Warrington Delivery duties may have changed but that we have not heard about in on here. However if you sent it on the 9 Nov then if will be officially lost after 15 days which will be the end of this week.
I final thing you could try is if you have a Twitter account try sending a message to @RoyalMail they seem very proactive and are getting good reviews on the Blogsphere. Good luck.

Re: Warrington area delays?
Yes. I hear that they've had to resort to sorting a lot of the Mail outside, in marquees. Because they can't fit all the Mail in the building. But I don't know whether it's just a rumor, or true. But I do know for certain, that they're understaffed. Because not enough Posties followed the work from Crewe. So it's possible.
