My bank uses your data base for my address, trouble is that on your data base the street no's run ....5,6,8,9..., I live at no7 so most of my bank mail goes to another Meadow Close. How can I get MY no7 in your 'frame'. cheers.

Do you have a postcode? You may have to ring up Customer Services and find out if its been put on the database yet. It can take about 3 months for information to filter down to National Databases for Insurance Firms etc.
Customer Services number is 08457 740740
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

First thing you should do is call your local councils name and numbering department, as if its not listed with them, when customer services add the house it will be rejected by our address management unit as not on the council database, so once you have confirmed your exact house number and postcode with the council then give customer services a ring

Why not,in the meantime inform your bank of your postcode so that they can manually alter your details.

I have this problem.
Whenever someone sends me a Special Delivery they are informed in the Post Office that the house number doesn't exist.
They have to insist the address is correct and the Post office refuse to guarantee next day delivery because my house number doesn't exist. (I went to the Post office and sent myself a Special Delivery just to listen to the spiel)
No-one at RM or the City Council appears to know why or what to do (and no, it is not a new build!)
I'm thinking of burning my house down just to see if the fire brigade manage to find the house, or whether being absent from some data base somewhere will deny me essential services.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Possible solution for you, first check exacty how your address appears on your council tax demand, then see who ever maintains APlus in your office and make sure your address is on there exactly the same, if it is get them to remove address for a week with reason as house derilict and then add it back on a week later should solve the problem!
