Why Royal Mail never have this useful tool?

Post by kim1715 »

Came across this post box finder tool on shiply.com, a website I've been using to find cheap couriers for eBay items:

http://www.shiply.com/postbox-finder.php

Such useful application which we as customers would expect Royal Mail to have on their website.

It would but that site is incomplete I typed a post code for my round and my house and they were wildly out for the nearest. Although the ones they did find are accurate.

This one seems more complete http://www.dracos.co.uk/play/locating-postboxes/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Wrong for my home.
Wrong for my SPDO.
Wrong for the main Delivery Office.
And wrong as it still includes rural boxes stolen for the scrap value. :sad:

Wrong here too, and actually takes me to the next local town instead of my own :roll: It is a rather good idea though in all fairness.

Just tried the other links too, and guess what, next town. Even though there is one about 3 streets away :roll:

It wasn't very close for the first one - and the other options were increasingly bizarre.
Useless.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
