I've been sending mail to Portugal regularly for the past couple of years, can't remember any problems whatsoever, and yet in the last few weeks almost all mail I've sent there has either been delayed (2+weeks) or not arrived at all. And most of this is International Signed For too.
Seems to be Portugal specific for me, although 1 item to France has also dissapeared during the same time (I think I've only sent 1) which wouldn't normally bother me... And I've seen another person mention a similar issue with Holland recently. Again, wouldn't normally seem an issue but in this case it just looks like the whole of Europe's postal services have suddenly been taken over by Italy.
So... anyone know if CTT are on strike? Did an ash cloud just sit over Portugal for the last month? Am I just super unlucky?
Thanks.
EDIT: Looks like they were on strike recently, but just before I started having issues. Can't see it causing a month's worth of backlog, unless they went on strike again in May?

PS. While I'm here... any experts on mechable international packets around? Have a few questions about it and RM account manager has only been able to point me to the Int Unsorted & Format Sort user guide which explains little more than it having to be a packet with an address on
