Mail collection, distribution, processing and deliveries are taking place across the South East and Anglia regions today, Thursday 11th February. However, fresh, significant falls of snow yesterday and last night are disrupting services in many parts of the counties of East Sussex and Kent this morning, especially in more rural areas.
Delivery of mail

Deliveries should be taking place as usual across most parts of the South East and Anglia regions today.

However, heavy falls of snow in southern parts of Kent & East Sussex are disrupting deliveries in many parts of the CT, BN and TN postcode areas. Because of the dangerous conditions, deliveries may not be possible today in some areas around the towns of Hastings, Battle, Bexhill, Eastbourne, Pevensey, St Leonards, Rye and New Romney. Deliveries will only be attempted where these are possible and it is safe for our people to perform them.

What snow? The weather here has been brilliant, sunny and cool - perfect delivery weather.

I expected to wake up to 10 foot snow drifts this morning, got approx 2 mm of snow here.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
