incorrect action

Post by duncan22 »

By going on strike you are forcing many customers to use alternative services and in time will lose the goodwill of the public.
What you should have done before going on strike was to get the TUC to tell the government that all unions would cease giving money to the Labour Party unless the government got involved directly with this dispute.
It is absolute nonsense for them to say they do not wish to get involved, they have the power to do what they like such as one set of Laws for themselves and another for the rest of us !
It's vital the issue is resolved before the next election as there is no need to spell out what a Conservative government would do.
Get back to your Trade Union reps (who will be collecting their full pay) and insist the TUC take the action suggested including getting back any money made in loans to the government. The only thing they care about is money so use it against them !!

No CWU rep is paid when on strike , most reps are unpaid volunteers, I'm afraid your information is incorrect .

This one's for the workers who toil all night and day
By hand and by brain, to earn your pay
For centuries long past for no more than your bread...
Have bled for your countries and counted your dead

In the factories and mills, in the shipyards and mines
We've often been told to keep up with the times
For our skills are not needed, they've streamlined the job
And with slide rule and stopwatch, our pride they have robbed

We're the first ones to starve, the first ones to die
The first ones in line for that pie in the sky
And we're always the last when the cream is shared out
For the worker is working when the fat cat's about

And when the sky darkens and the prospect is war
Who's given the gun and then pushed to the fore
And expected to die for the land of our birth
Though we've never owned one handful of earth

And all of these things the worker has done
From tilling the fields to carrying the gun
We've been yoked to the plow since time first began
And always expected to carry the can

duncan..not even our own union will stop giving money to the labour party.
to many vested interests and future political ambitions.
its not for no reason that you have to be an active labour party memeber/ activist to even be considered for election to the top jobs

and then just look at the thread, who will you vote for at the general election and see how many postmen will still vote them back in.

Bitchface,
Youv'e got it in one !
There is no money to pay people a decent wage or pension. No thought given to the number of people who can't get medicines for terminal illnesses because they are too expensive, young lads of 18+ being killed and maimed in Afganistan because there is no money for proper equipment yet there is stacks of cash for MPs and their relatives.
Wasn't Johnstone a union rep before he became a MP whats his opinion on the situation ?

exactly duncan.
johnston was the top man and now he is home secretary.he is not saying a word.
and our present leader has exactly the same ambitions.

we are all fooked.just so the labour party can get its hands on our pension pot (over 40 billions is it now)to bribe the voters
