In the care industry, because of the awful work conditions and the management's "as there long as the work is done we dont really care" and "bums in beds" attitude, there are very little carers left who genuinely care about the clients and the work they are doing. Instead there is a mass recruitment of people who really don't care and only see the job as "a job". This has major consequences for the clients who should be receiving the best level of service.
My point being that I have seen what has happened in the care industry and so I can totally understand the postal workers having to strike in order to put their point across and get the people at the top to listen and hopefully change things for the better. This is something that can never be acheived in the care industry as peoples lives are literally on the line, so I say good on all you posties and I wish you all success!
