I'm expecting an ebay item, it was received by the senders Post Office yesterday morning and they are using Tracked 48, but it is still at that Post Office. This is very unusual, as normally, packages are picked up at end of day and pass to the appropriate Mail Centre that same day.
Is this normal?

The tracking doesn’t tell you that it is at the Post Office, it means that it hasn’t been scanned in by Royal Mail. The former is a sub-set of the latter.
