Today after leaving the post office and reviewing my receipt, I noticed that the parcel I dropped off weighed 1180 g. Unfortunately, I had purchased a label online for a small parcel with a weight limit of up to 1 kg. The post office employee did not bring this discrepancy to my attention; otherwise, I would have created a new label.
Aware that this could potentially cause issues with the delivery, I returned to the post office and asked to retrieve the parcel and correct the error. However, I was informed that the parcel was already in a sealed sack for the last collection of the day.
I am concerned about what will happen next. Will the parcel be delivered to my client, or will it be returned to me, the sender? I am keen to avoid causing any inconvenience to my client and am willing to pay the difference for the correct postage. Thank Y O U .

They will get a little grey card asking to pay a fee and the under payment IF it get's flagged.
