I am an Etsy seller who recently started my new business.
So long story short, my client paid for the special delivery and I sent our a small letter using Special Delivery by 1pm at 10 a.m. Friday (which is before the cut-off time I am sure). We both expect the letter to arrive on Monday.
However, I have been checking again and again on Royal Mail website but it stunk at 'sender preparing items'. Another parcel that I sent out this morning (Saturday!) using special delivery service has already been scanned and recorded...
Did they lost my parcel already? I tried to phone them but obviously no one pick up the phone. What should I do?

There was a similar example a few days ago (Glasgow I think). The item was collected at home instead of being posted at the Post office. It's unlikely to be in a SPD stream of mail unfortunately.
Also a lot if SPD items are missing the silver/blue sticker, so they can be mistaken for SPD items.
I don't think the parcel is "lost' and may still arrive at it's destination on Monday. The inward delivery office may realise that it's a SPD item and process it correctly.

Way too early to consider anything lost.
Give it till at least the end of the week
