Royal Mail Parcel Lockers - help required

Post by raphph »

So I routinely sell things on eBay which means generating a QR code on my phone for my parcel - and then queuing up at the post office to scan the QR code - the post office staff then print a label for my package.

These parcel lockers seem a godsend in that they save me having to queue. However, I’m confused because the Royal Mail says it can print the label at the locker - and yet the only printer is on the EVRI section of the locker rather than Royal Mail. Can someone clear up for me whether I can send my QR code packages via these lockers or not? Or do I have to print my own labels first at home?

Is it a Royal Mail branded locker?

They look similar to parcel lockers you’ll have already seen on your local high street or around busy areas; our parcel lockers are grey, with red Royal Mail branding which you’ll recognise.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

It is a Royal Mail branded locker. Split into three columns. There’s no label printing in the Royal Mail part. The right hand side has a label printer but is branded EVRI.
