From an outlet that I use regularly so kept stickers with their return address to hand to allow me to quickly pack up and ship returns for items that didnt want for refund.
Without checking I recently sent for return £200 worth of items to this address I had return labels from ready to go.
The next day I receive an alert that this item was not delivered due to no one being at the address to accept the parcel.
At this point I checked the vendors website to see if their address had changed, and of course just my luck they recently moved warehouse to a new address.
Now today, the item was out for delivery again and now someone local has signed for the parcel! My gut feeling is that its someone random who works in one of the units and will simply leave it on the floor, which will never get picked up.
Now this issue is not RM fault and I am 100% to blame, so im not disputing this.
Can anyone tell me what can be done, if anything given I have used SD. For example if i contact RM support, will they attempt to go back to retrieve the parcel?
Im going to assume the answer is no, but thought i would ask the question before calling their customer support while being in a queue for 1 hr or so before i get an answer...
thanks

Re: Sent Special Delivery to old return address
Might be worth contacting the firm. Or check the GPS location on the tracking.
Its possible that they had a redirection that when it was done at the original frame (where the posties sort the mail) after the postie for the new address had left the office. They would have then tried the next day which matches to your post.
