Hi,
I'm wondering if there are any statistics to how often Royal Mail manage to deliver according to their online time-frame, e.g. 5-7 days for international tracked. This would help customers make an informed decision about which service to use. Of course, delays are often unpredictable, still there must be some sort of base guide that Royal Mail can provide. Missed birthdays can mean a lot to a lonely individual.

Once an item has left the UK, there's nothing that RM can do as it'll be in the hands of first the local customs, then the local equivalent of RM. Some countries customs are stricter than others

Thank you, SpacePhoenix. That makes sense. What do Royal Mail mean though when they give a delivery estimate - can they even if the delivery date is not in their hands?
