Hi, I hope this is allowed and in the right place.
I ordered something online, and the address was auto filled by the device being used. Unfortunately it missed out my street address. But the door number and postcode was on there.
This has happened twice; the first time my order arrived absolutely no problem. second time it was returned to sender: but not the company will only refund me £1.41 from a ten pound order.
I just wanted to know, is it my error because of missing street address?
It’s only a petty problem I know, I’d just like to clarify.
Thanks

Re: Missing street name
From Royal mails point of view it would be the senders responsibility to ensure the address was complete and accurate.
However, if you ordered online the company may have a clause that it's your responsibility to make sure you enter the address correctly and if you failed to do so they may within their rights to recoup their costs from you. You need to check their T&Cs to ensure if meets with the Online and distance selling regulations. https://www.gov.uk/online-and-distance- ... businesses
