parcel tracking

was sent a parcel by my gf and it came to the uk and sat at Heathrow for like two weeks < yesterday i get an email from usps saying its back at Chicago?
what's the point of sending it back for it to come back again , can anyone shed some light on this, her last parcel arrived without this happing so I can't understand what's going on with it . in will be grateful for any help . P.S she did not send anything that is not allowed to be sent also another site track.24 says Estimated delivery period 24.03.2021 - 13.04.2021 confessed 😳

What was the contents? One possibility is that customs have refused it entry into the UK

Looks like it never made it physically into the Royal Mail Network. According to https://parcelsapp.com/en/tracking/LH132502457US, all the physical scans were made by USPS so as Space Pheonix says it may have been rejected by UK Customs.

Though there are a myriad of other possibilities. Probably best to contact USPS
