Help of who to contact

Post by Everborntoes »

Hi. I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask. We posted a birthday card and the door number was not put on the card. All other details were as in flat number and post code. Who can i contact in Royal Mail to see if this has gone to the National Returns centre ? The online help pages just keep taking me round and round in circles. Thank you for any help and sorry if i am in the wrong place. Eve

Sorry but I'm not sure who to contact, there are a lot of variables here unfortunately. If the delivery postie is a regular and the recipient has been living there for a while then good chance they will get the card. However if the duty is covered by a new start/reserve/floater/lapsed then it will probably be sent to NI and opened to check for any address and then destroyed if none are found. There is also a chance the delivery postie may just leave the card in the stair for the Tennant's to work it out
