My customers are really nice.Honestly do you think we are striking because we demand respect?

My point was that postal workers go on strike and it's unacceptable yet when MP's milk the taxpayer, the bankers get bailed out with taxpayers money, fat cat's get paid disgusting bonuses at the publics expense nobody really gives a sh**. What has happened to society. We need to stand up to these parasites.

MY "respect" point was referring to managers respect not public respect. Although public respect is equally important.

Can you back that statement up? Opinion polls suggest otherwise.

If you don't agree with striking how would you stand up for yourself? Or wouldn't you?

It's funny how your first post was this.

"hi all im new on here and im trying to get advise on my post, i am a delivery driver myself for UKMAIL and i could go off on one about my work load going through the roof due to the strikes but never mind, every letter i post is an extra £1.45.

what i want to know is can i collect from the sorting office tomorrow as i have some very important letters there for me and a hospital letter for my 1 yr old daughter.

thanks all, lewis"

After your first post it is funny how your poor 1 year old daughter is no longer important. Not one word. :no no
You should be ashamed of yourself that you are putting work and RM ahead of your daughter.

Please go away and leave it to men and wome who value their families above work

IPS wrote:Here we go again, being called selfish because you want YOUR letters because we are on strike is a tad ironic :wave

hold on, they are OUR letters. if you parked your car and an hour later the carpark attendent wouldnt let it out you'd be p##sed off too.
one quick thing, any mail is not legally yours until delivered by the delivery officer or collected from a pre arranged place. until it is delivered all mail is legally in transit.
