It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Our Callers office keeps a log of all Re Del requests so they can prove we sent it out.POSTMAN wrote:Yes technically we should as they can go down the where's my thing route as they have the card.janitor wrote:Never been told to ask for red card for redeliveries.

Re: Royal Mail 1st Class Standard time estimate
All our redeliveries come via Customer Services aswell. CLEO's, they contain redeliveries and paid online surcharges. We had a spat of redeliveries not going out because the managers were'nt getting the redelivery bags tipped.POSTMAN wrote:That's right, but i know they have a book as well for some reason.Unless it's for something different.DGP1 wrote:I thought they all came through Customer Services these days and so there was a print out for all re deliveriesPOSTMAN wrote:Ours do as well funny enough, but how many others do.Interestingly they started doing it when we got a lot of 'i didn't receive it' complaints.TrueBlueTerrier wrote:Our Callers office keeps a log of all Re Del requests so they can prove we sent it out.POSTMAN wrote:Yes technically we should as they can go down the where's my thing route as they have the card.janitor wrote:Never been told to ask for red card for redeliveries.

1. Customer not aware of size and can't carry it from the office.
2. Lost Red Card Callers - No Card No Packet but can rearrange delivery to original address only.
3. Local Telephone requests.
