Job re-advertised, am I unsuccessful?

I had an interview 5 weeks ago, only last week did my online status change from interview booked to attended interview. The job has been re-advertised today and it's the same contract and hours per week, does this mean I have been unsuccessful and is there any hope for me now? Has anyone been in a similar situation in the past?

No. Its possible that you were placed on a waiting list and they haven't got back to you yet.

Its possible that the person they set on has jacked it in.

Its possible that a more senior postie has left for any number of reasons, so they advertise a similar post again.

The most likely thing though is just that the recruitment process in RM is as turgid as an iceberg in Greenland during an Ice age, in fact some have said an ice age is usually shorter.

Congratulation daambi, uve done it mate..well done! I am still waiting on the 5th week it was awaiting further information for a week then back again to attended interview , no mails no calls. Hmm so u gune be a postman or a mail sorter
