Hi!
After my first interview with RM, I got an email saying I am "eligible" to re-apply....in 6 months !!!!! If before the interview I could apply anytime (even if my applications were unsuccessful), why now that I am "eligible" I can´t ??? What does eligible mean in this context? If I need to do all the process again, why wait 6 months?
Thanks everybody!

I'm confused as to what you are asking?
It's normal for firms to have a time limit for unsuccessful applicants to re apply again.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: why 6 months to re-aply???
Thanks Postman,
Maybe my question is confusing, English is not my first language and I´m confused about the meaning of "eligible" (wordReference: suitable, qualified) in this context.
I understood it to be an advantage being an "eligible candidate" than just a candidate.
I had the idea that my interview went quite well and I was one step beyond than before. Looks as I was wrong!
But I still wonder why I could have some unsucessful applications (some withdraw by RM, some failed the tests) and go on applying and AFTER THE INTERVIEW I can´t.
I just thought reaching the interview was better than not, even if I failed it.
But if it´s not, so I need to wait 6 months and start again? (and try not to mess it up at the interview)
thanks
