Hello all,

I received an email about 10 days ago welcoming me to RM, with my start and induction dates etc. The email said I would receive a contract by post that I had to return with my P45, my start date is near and I've not received it yet. Is this normal or do I need it chase it up, if so who do I need to call?

I've been lurking here quite a bit as I'm due to start on Tuesday as a postie the day after my welcome day, looking forward to starting (with a healthy amount of nerves mixed in for good measure).

Thanks :thumbup

welcome

Yep quite normal, I received my contract about 2 weeks after starting work and received another one 5 weeks after that for some reason.

Thanks GT, I received the same email again today but this time with documents attached that appeared to be missing from the first one, also by coincidence I received my contract in the post a few minutes later. I filled it all in and send it back this afternoon... They seem as disorganised as my last employer. Ordering my uniform tomorrow, could have done it 11 days ago had they not forgot to attach the from to the first email, looks like I might be delivering mail naked for the first week, which suits me just fine
