Hi all,
I wonder if any one can help with a query regarding online testing?I have applied about 8 times online for various posts within royal mail and seem to keep failing the talent q assessment. Can any one give guidance as to what method to use to assist me in this??I have heard that once you fail this assessment that is the only chance and you will always record a fail. Also is it true that the sift method for selection is to take a group of names from a list and interview those names??Just wondered if i am wasting my time applying??

Re: online testing.
I have the same question as bruxie.I have applied three times, the first vacancy was withdrawn,I failed the test the second time and I am still waiting to hear about the third one.Somewhere online I read that the test was designed that you could not finish it in the time and get all the answers right, although it gets a bit easier each time I take it.So,do I carry on applying?

If you can't pass the test you probably are not suited to the job, or any sort of job where you need to check details like house numbers, street names, towns or postcodes. The test is actually pretty easy comparing two sets of information and picking out entries with differences between them.
