Ordering Uniform

Hi All,

I am due to start a 6 month contract on Monday (28/2/2013) That is my induction day, Do i have to wait until i've had that before ordering the uniform. Or can i order before hand?

If i can't order it, what is best to wear on the first shift that i have?

You need your pay number to order stuff,ask at the induction day on what to do.

I do have my pay number but i have called and they said i was not on the system yet :S

so still a lil unsure

You will be able to order it the day after your induction. Even though you already have your pay numbe it doesn't go live until you turn up and attend the induction day. So order it the next working day after your induction.

Now its just working out what to wear for the time while im waiting to get my uniform... is there anything that they wish you to wear whilst that is happening? Or is it best to talk to someone in the place where im working?

If you are on delivery just wear layers. Jeans are ok but are a pain if its raining. Combat trousers are the best. Do not wear t shirts with offensive language or slogans or massive advertising logos.

If you order the uniform on the Tuesday on the phone, it should be with you on the mon/tues the following week. DO NOT let your manager order it. They won't!! Call the uniform hotline and order it all yourself.
