Newbie Holiday Entitlement

Hello Everyone,

So my induction is on Monday and start on tuesday, now at the time of my interview when they asked me i had no pending holidays, but over the last week a few things have cropped up and i need to take 4 days off in october, will this be allowed or do you have to work a for a certain amount of months before you are entitled to holidays?

Also im a 23 year old female who has been working in an office for the last 3 years, is this job going to kill me? be honest. :o)

You should be okay as long as you mention it to the manager as soon as you're at your working location. If you have a formal trainer mention it to them but make sure the boss knows as soon as possible,as they will need to plan cover.

I was just under 40 when I started and I had been working in a call centre for 7 years so you should be okay as long as you are relatively fit. It will be a struggle with the fitness and getting up to speed - it's the same for everyone and you'll lose weight at first - just be careful as most put it back on quickly with the traditional posties diet.
