I've recently been hired as a Postman and would like to say a quick hello and ask a question.
All the checks were completed on me this Wednesday and I was told to attend an induction day on Monday (15/12).
Because it was quite short notice I was told where the Induction day was and when to arrive in case the Welcome pack didn't arrive.
No welcome pack has come in todays post.
Do they ask for anything to be brought to the induction day in the Welcome Letter e.g. Photo?
I have a pdf copy of the Introduction Booklet and a Uniform size/Ordering form by email.
Many thanks.

Hello All
Welcome Nezzer - I honestly can't remember what I needed for the induction but at a guess 2 passport size photos may be a good idea just in case they give you a security badge, but normally they would do that themselves.
My advice would be dress warm and take a notebook and pen. Ask loads of questions and listen most of all to the posties that will do your training.

Hello All
I'll get a couple of photos just in case.
I'm just a bit nervous about the first day. It would have been nice to have written confirmation of time and place of induction day just to ease the nerves but I am looking forward to starting anyway.

Hello All
Welcome Nezzer
Have you any experience as a motor mechanic or in the building trade?
Because at the moment we really need people who can put the wheels back on and plaster over the cracks that are appearing everywhere.
