Transferred to an office and not what i expected

Post by umair »

Hi been working around 14 yrs as a postie. Transferred to another office due to management just giving overtime to their favourites and stopping Ghost overtime. I Transferred and got an increase from 25 hours over 3 days to 30 hours over 5 days with the promise of plenty of overtime. Now im im in a situation where I dont get called in early even though I have plenty of experience. Overtime and being called in early is for new starters of not even a week.

Now would i be able to go back to my old office immediately?

Also walks are massive here in the new office with people leaving in mail and still going over.

Do I have to go over or i can refuse and say i want to work to my time?

Finally 30 hour contract for a 14 year postie..is this same as a new starter or do i have the same benefits as before?

Thanks

You can refuse to work over your time or demand overtime to cover it.

Confused - you wanted OT/more hours, so you got them at the new office, but now the walks are 'massive' you want to work to your time
and not work the OT? Did you just want early indoor IPS OT and not outdoor OT?

find it hard to believe u have transferred office if u dont know what contract u are on, when u transfer did u not ask if u would keep all ur terms and conditions , thats what happens when u transfer u keep ur contract terms and conditions no sundays, paid d2ds etc, seems strange ur asking that question while ur suppodesly in ur new office

u need to be in ur new office at least 6 months before u transfer again

u dont need to go over, ur choice , giving up only 3 days work for 25 hours was a schoolboy error, now u work 5 days for a measly 5 hour increase what a screw up

I wish they'd incorporate delivery supplement into basic wage for delivery staff rather than showing it separately.
