Interview

Post by jbains2 »

Hi everyone,

I have an interview for Postperson with driving coming up. Can anyone tell me what the Garforth, Leeds Delivery Office is like?

The role I have applied is for 13:00 - 19:00. Would this be delivering a mixture of letter and parcels or only parcels?

Thanks

I joined in 2011, due to working in a Post Office at the time.

Jbains, presumably the letters would have left the office way before 13:00, so I would be expecting 90% parcels in your situation.

However, there is the odd occasion when part of a delivery round needs finishing off (mixed letters and packets), for whatever reason, so you could be doing this too.

It would be a question to ask at your interview. Best of luck.

This looks like an actual postie job at Garforth DO it says 30 hrs weds-sat so 4 days per week between 7am-14.30 although what's actually on offer could differ to that they usually like people on 5 days, again ask at the interview you could say you've seen this other job advertised and you're interested, well if you are that is.
