Hi all,
I have been offered a role as a postie with driving starting in around a month.
However, I was dismissed from my previous role with the police for misconduct (non dishonesty and non criminal related). Is this likely to fail the vetting procedure?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Vetting after dismissal
As long as you disclosed it fully during the interview/recruitment process, it should be okay. But if you didn't, and it is disclosed during background and previous employment checks, they it most probably would.
Of course that depends on the core reason for dismissal but do not disclose that on here (even by PM)
