HI all
I have received a job offer that is subject to a pre-employment check. During the online health assessment, I declared that I have diabetes and that I am taking medication for it. As a result, I have been referred to Occupational Health (OH) and have an appointment scheduled with them.
Could you please let me know if this will affect my job offer?
Thank you for your assistance

Re: pre-employment check medical check
Probably not if you diabetes is controlled.
My issue was a back injury 3 years before applying.
The OH were useless, messed about for 2 months and nearly resulted in me being rejected cos the DO were sik of waiting for the OH to ask me a few questions.
My onboarder was blaming the OH, OH was blaming the DO managers and DO managers had no idea who to blame.
I wouldn't panic right now...but if things don't seem to be moving, chase up.
