Hi folks I was recently started as a postie then realised when starting how much hard work and overload of stuff that you’s have to be put through and the overtime that you never get praised or paid for the posties there were all great but you could hear there opinions clearly on the management standing their ordering people about then chatting between themselves and having a laugh doing bugger all more a less my work coach was excellent a great sound guy but also felt sorry for him as the amount of work he does well before others are in and then delivering and still absolutely shattered through his round and not managing to take a full round out then when I said I was quitting all I got was a reply from the manager saying ok then that was it lol so no clue if I’ll be paid for the days I did

Couple agency girls at our placed been told they are not needed anymore today,think they were a little upset ,they have worked their ass off for a couple years now, been abused by managers ,overloaded with mail, walked over on many occasions basically treated like s--t ,thats how royal mail bosses work,your better off out of here the place is an absolute hell hole.

Isn't that why agency staff get paid more per hour as there's zero job security from one week to the next? Although knowing how RM works they'll be offering them more work, if they want it, in a few weeks time.
