Hi,
Postperson jobs in my area say, "a weekly supplement of £26.61 (pro rata) plus an area payment of £35.00 (pro rata) is also payable."
Please can you tell me if the area payment of £35 is a weekly payment (pro rata) or a yearly payment?
Thanks.

Re: area payment.
Hi
In the case of where I work, there is the Delivery Supplement and also an Area Supplement. Both are paid weekly, pro-rata for part timers. When you do overtime you will get the Supplements paid pro-rata up to a total of 37 hours worked so that you receive the same as a full time person gets. Once over 37 hours the Supplements stop and the overtime rate is a few pence over the standard hourly rate.
(37 hours is the "new" full time, some offices are still 38 hours)
