christmas casuals work update

Post by Medwaycasual »

I see royalmail are now advertising for christmas casuals to work in some delivery offices, as well as driving jobs, some of these jobs are being advertised via agencies like manpower.

Various agencies are being used through Angard.

Some agency is contracted e.g. 20 hours per week for so many weeks - they can't work more than this

Christmas casuals are being added to the busy delivery offices in our area

Seems to be a lot of night shift vacancies still available. Wonder why. Wouldn't be something to do with reducing the rate from £10 an hour last year to £9.20 this year? Is that why they had to reupload them - last years temps who applied this year looking at a pay cut and realising they would only be getting 48p an hour more than the day shift and thinking s*d that!!

Mass furloughs/unemployment across the nation.

Angard/RM know people will work for less
Plus they need to pay for all these Employment Tribunals/Out-of-Court settlements they keep losing.
