I've noticed RM have started relisting some of their Christmas Casual vacancies on their website. A couple of weeks ago it was down to about 30, now it's 62. I received the "what to do if you don't get the shift you wanted" email so it's obvious a lot of people are having the same issues.
It looks like RM have got themselves into a complete mess this year. This could easily have been avoided if they only allowed people to apply for shifts that were actually available and they didn't have more than one location per application with no provision for chosing between them. Maybe a tick box "would you be prepared to work other shifts" and a phone call to confirm availability would have helped as well.
What a farce!
