MDEC Starting date.

Has anybody been given their starting date for MDEC yet? I was told, on Angard's website about 12 days ago, that a starting date has been agreed but, as yet, nobody has told me when this date is.

Phone Angard and ask (if you can get through ) , as really at this point you should know your start date.

Normally it’s the last Wednesday in November. I’ve applied to transfer over from the MC to the MDEC for Christmas but haven’t had a confirmed start date yet.

They’ve also said I won’t get the AWR rate, just the basic rate, which is pretty bad!

Do we not have an induction day beforehand ?

Normally it’s three days training (Wed to Fri) then the shifts start properly the following week.

I’ve just had my start date confirmed - Wed 29 Nov.

Mine has now been confirmed as December 1st.
