First shift tomorrow. what to expect.

Hello, i have worked for royal mail as a christmas temp previously, most recently this past xmas. I have never though worked for angard during the year. what are you employed to do ? is it letter sorting or parcel sorting as i don't know if i need to take my steel tow cap boots or not. we weren't told whether or not to take them so i don't know if i should go without them and just see what happens. they normally give you a new pair of boots anyway if your new. Just wanted to know if anyone else knew what the duties included working for angard.

The job is the same as what it is as a Christmas casual. You could be doing anything (letters, parcels, packets, PPI, Metre letters, DSA etc).

At our place the only thing we don't do is work on the flat machines.

As for uniforms. Never known them to give anyone steel toe caps at our place. In fact never known them to give anyone anything except a hi viz that very few people wear. So if you do get some consider yourself lucky. What place do you work at ?
