Help me I am trying to contact Angard

Post by andyaldridge »

Hi, I'm new to his forum but after reading through ALL the posts, I am hoping someone might be able to help.

I had my web test back in November, then end of December I went to local sorting office (Southend-on-Sea) for an interview(?) Where I was told I had a 'casual' contract of employment which started 3rd January 2012.

I have had all my checks done and have been issued with an ID pass. And that is it!

I have since being trying to call Angard everyday using all of the following numbers and various email addresses:

0845 460 7318
0845 460 7361
01604 634 319
01604 818 809
01604 818 813
0845 460 7487

The top number (7318) although is repeated on all of my incoming letters and emails, it is only the payroll helpdesk. My call was eventually answered by some lackadaisical teenage lad. All he could tell me was that he cannot transfer, has no other phone numbers to give me, couldn't even check to see if I was even on the computer records and finally said to me, "Yeah, crap init!"

SO I have tried all the other numbers constantly, some are always engaged and the others - just no answer.

I am now officially on their books but cannot contact them to find out what's the f*ck is going on about me starting work with them?!?!?

Does anyone have the number for the 'Contacts' or 'Staffing' teams?? PLEASE???!!!

Thanks,

:arrrghhh

Keep trying the 01604 numbers - they are for the people that text/call you into work. The 0845 numbers are currently staffed by an outside messaging service due to the fiasco they have caused over the Christmas period. Oh and errrmmmm good luck.

Take my advice, don't bother! I know that jobs are not easy to find, but look for a proper one. One that pays! All this has been a nightmare (& still is). Life has too many problems without having to constantly check your bank to see if you've been paid. Then, when you try to get the situation resolved, ring somebody at Angard & the phone just rings rings rings/you're put on hold forever/you get cut off!

I have not been paid in a month now, Angard are a joke. Im fed up....stressed. Royal Mail can do next to nothing to help any of us. You can never get through to an actual pay team employee, its always some douche bag at the help desk. New job.......I think so!!!!!!

Remember as well there is no guarantee of ANY work from Angard. They have been very poor at getting any work for me since September I only get shifts by asking directly. I saw one new girl after Christmas for two nights she was pleased as punch to get a job......not seen her since! By all means take what ever they offer but either look elsewhere or still claim JSA at the same time, that way at least you will have some money!
