Just want to be paid

Post by deristrong »

Worked all last week only to see joinedup cancelled the shifts due to me "not signing in / out". My manager confirmed each day was confirmed and authorised. They don't respond to emails / messages from myself or the office manager. Meanwhile I'm light of about £250 with no sign of it being resolved this week either. My manager has said Angard are notoriously shite. Anyone else had this?

Yeah it happened to me a couple of years ago when I did a shift at a delivery office which hadn’t yet adopted an electronic signing in system.

The following week the shift was cancelled after I had worked it, and two upcoming shifts that I had booked were also cancelled.

I spoke to a couple of people without succces, even gave them the delivery office manager’s contact details but didn’t seem to be getting anywhere.

In the end I raised an official grievance with Angard HR (who to be fair were brilliant) and I was paid for the shift as well as the two cancelled ones.

Happens all the time.
You will need to resend your email with the day and date, start time, finish time (it will still be on the depot joined up so ask your Manager to check
and hours owed.
eg
Monday 12/5/25 07.00 to 14.00 7 hours
You will also have to make sure that your Manager sends an email confirming the shift the same week.
Then keep checking your timesheet on joined up and eventually it will show up at the bottom as a manual adjustment.
