PROCESSING SECURITY CHECKS???

I've just got off the phone with Angard. I've been waiting 4 weeks now and I'm still being processed for security checks. I'm meant to be starting tonight at Canterbury at 10pm, I was told to wait until I get an email... This is starting to get frustrating

I do wish luck to everyone of you ,last night i was worried about if i am going to work or not this Christmas but today i have received 2 email from a company i have phoned them on March asking for job in Dubai , you can call that an Irish luck, my starting time next Monday.So what do you think ,should i inform Angard or just ignor them the way that they ignor our phone calls & emails? THANKS

Wes, you are the first person I have found on here signed up for Canterbury. Have a look at he Canterbury thread I wrote on the board. This year is a total mess. I am still waiting for confirmation and like you was supposed to start on the 28th. Not sure I even want the job now after reading the troubles people have been having. Starting is just the beginning of the nightmare. Non-payment of wages seems widespread. And they have reduced the pay to a pittance. I've worked the last three Xmas's at Canterbury but this Angard lot are making me wonder if I should bother this year.

My start date was 28th - monday just gone, still awaiting security checks,, been 5x weeks now, rang em god knows how many times, emailed em, they say nothing they can do,,,,what a complete cock up,,given up,,

Hi guys, got my text and email just after 3 this afternoon, I was supposed to start on Monday 28th and have been on PROCESSING SECURITY CHECKS for exactly 1 week. My email this afternoon invites me to start work on Monday 5th 2-10 (shift i requested), and my status on royal mail site is now 'HIRED AND START DATE AGREED' - I'm not taking it as gospel until I'm physically there sorting parcels but thought I'd post to let you's know that you may still get work just a week later than expected like me (touch wood!), keep all your fingers and toes crossed and I will keep them crossed for you!

hi i applyied for a job with angard staffing got doc interview brought right documation i was was waiting on crb its now to 6weeks ive heared nothing tried emailing them and phoning the whole time no answer. i dunno what to do . i logged onto my appilcation its says its been with drawn when i niver withdrawn it .

i went for a registration event about 5 weeks ago and it still says prossesing security checks, to begin with i thought to my self i must have the job otherwise why would they be doing security checks, but it is now 4 days away till my start date im not so sure if i have the job now. devostated as i really need money for chrimbo. has anyone had "prossesing security checks" and not got the job? thanks for any details
P.s tried to phone all the numbers for angard but not one of them did i get to speak to anyone
