Sunday deliveries

Post by GT750rider »

Having used myHermes recently, I got this email today:

myHermes understands that the e-commerce industry operates at full speed 24/7 and that convenience and choice is critical to the overall online shopping experience. Recent company research showed that 59% of customers viewed Sunday as a convenient day to receive a parcel – and that is why myHermes has extended its delivery services to span seven days a week.

The new service was officially launched on the 1st June, making myHermes the very first carrier in the UK to offer deliveries on a Sunday. Innovation remains at the heart of the business and the company will continue to look for new ways to improve its services for its valued customers.

The Sunday service is already providing added convenience and choice for consumers, SMEs, eBay power sellers, niche Internet retailers and Amazon marketplace sellers - and the company has already received a fantastic level of positive feedback.

This service complements the growing myHermes ParcelShop network, which also operates seven days a week. The company now has more than 3,600 outlets across the UK, which will increase to 5,000 by the end of the year.

myHermes is aware that many SMEs and Internet-based retailers work tirelessly around the clock to provide their customers with exceptional levels of service. With the launch of the Sunday service, myHermes believes it can help these businesses match their customers’ expectations. By operating a service seven days a week, and investing in its network of ParcelShops, myHermes is the most accessible delivery solution in the marketplace.
