TNT named Employer of the Year at Mayor's Fund awards

Marlow-based TNT Post UK has been named Employer of the Year at the first ever Mayor's Fund for London Awards.

The postal provider, based at Globeside Business Park, demonstrated the best understanding of the employment issues faced by young people in London today, according to the judges.

The awards, held at London's City Hall on Thursday, were set up by the Mayor's Fund of London, a charity working to give young Londoners the skills and opportunities to get a decent job and escape the threat of poverty.

They were set up to recognise and reward those organisations and individuals who have done the most to provide young Londoners with employment and decent prospects.

Marks & Spencer, Pret A Manger and Middleton Murray were also among the award winners on the night.
