A dispute over pay at the Isle of Man Post Office has been settled.
However, the size of the workforce will now reduce - meaning some voluntary redundancies.
The settlement ends months of discussions between management and union officials.
Staff at the Post Office had voted to strike in April but the action was called off at the last minute, when it was agreed talks would continue to resolve the issues.
Workers claimed they'd been promised pay rises but bosses said they were bound by a government pay freeze.
The new agreement is said to be a complex settlement, which provides a 3.5% increase in basic pay.
It's partly being funded by changing working practices - which it's said will improve efficiency.
It also means that staff numbers will fall and this will be dealt with through natural wastage and voluntary redundancy.
