BETHESDA, MD (WUSA)--Montgomery County Police and Rescue say they found no signs of a hazardous materials or contaminants at the Westlake Post Office Branch in Bethesda Saturday.
The facility was shut down for hours after four workers reported they were feeling ill around 10:30 am. Workers say one employee broke out into rashes on her face followed by three more who showed similar symptoms. They were treated inside an ambulance at the scene before they were transported to a nearby hospital.
Investigators examined several packages and other equipment int he post office but said they found nothing. Hazmat teams turned the incident over to post office investigators.
