The suicide of a French postal worker has prompted fears about working conditions in the Post Office. A 56-year-old worker killed himself on Saturday in Bouches-du-Rhône, in southeast France. It is the fifth in the region since last January and the 71st nationwide, according to trade unions.

I know that this job can be stressful, and if you or I were to allow this stress to permeate our working lives without notice then, suicide for some might be the only answer. It is not of course, but I am wondering how much worse should it be allowed to fester while those in the know still do nothing.

BELIAL tells us (from an earlier spate of tragedies) that an investigation was (and still is ongoing) into workplace harassment. That earlier discussion of that triple tragedy (from the same sorting office) is to be found here...
