Hungary - Postmen said to plan open-ended strike

Hungary's mailmen will start an open-end strike on Tuesday, according to a statement their trade union sent to MTI on Monday.



Employees demand that they receive a one-off payment of 100,000 forints (364 euros) each from revenues collected from the sale of Hungarian Post properties, the document said.



Post spokesman Tamas Tomecsko dismissed the announcement saying that only a handful of the 11,000 mailmen were ready to go on strike and that the action would cause no disturbances.
