Marks and Spencer stores in Ireland, the Midlands and in the north of England could be threatened by strike action from DHL drivers who deliver products to the branches. Around 100 staff at the DHL depot near Belfast, and at two more sites in England, are considering walking out after a pay freeze.
DHL is a company that works and is recognised globally, as it delivers by air, sea and road. If strike action goes ahead, then stores in both Ireland and England will be seriously affected. This comes alongside consumer pressure for M&S to drop some of its prices.
The root cause is that there are complaints that DHL workers' wages are compromised by the company's pouring funds into sponsoring Formula One racing.

DHL drivers strike

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
