Royal mail share price up 25%

Just having a quick glance at the share price and its jumped by 25%. Not sure the reason behind this. Even though we are losing money every day.

The latest trading figures were good in places and poor in others, but generally better than predicted.

It's nothing but manipulation by the big boys, just like when it spiked to 220p+ last month for no reason whatsoever, before rapidly falling back away again, also for no reason. A bit of a mini pump n' dump.

I predict it will do the same again this time.

It was quite a positive AGM yesterday from an investors POV.
Parcels on the up(^34%), letters on the down(21.5%). Rev. up but mitigated by covid related costs.
Savings to be made by shelving scrapping some mod. plans, reduction of management to have an effect lowering rev. exp.
Mention of USO being adapted.
Rumours of RMG splitting on share forums and sharing tipping services.
Maybe a bit of lockdown apprehension which will have a positive effect on parcel orders.
I would intrepret the nature of the announcement from the AGM as an indication that a deal with the CWU is not an issue.
And as Wacko says a bit of manipulation.

A business suspends the dividend, announces it will be loss making and the talks on an agreement on modernisation plans are at least 6 weeks behind and the price jumps? Something smells fishy.

My conspiracy theory is RM have been buying the shares at an inflated price to prevent Kretinsky increasing his share and being in a position to force through the sale of GLS,

There isn't really anything in RM's current position to attract investors.

Can anybody help me with selling my shares. It’s been 3-4 years since I last sold some and can’t remember how I did it. lol
