Not defending anything he has or will do but it is standard practice for executives to invest in shares for the company they work for. That he was given six million quid tax free should never have been sanctioned but it is another matter.

Trump is the biggest manipulator of markets there is. His tweeting can add or take away billions and you don't think he has someone investing for him?

Similarly, Farage has been accused of influencing exchange rate trading when conceding on referendum night, only for the result to reverse and the pound to crash. (personally think that may be a little bit of a stretch as the result was too close call at that stage)
