Why are there so many large after closing transactions that are done on Royal Mail shares.Just seen 4 million plus sale went through after closing and the next sale was 3p lower so are we in for a drop in the morning?

You'll always have some after closing trades with any share.
But in this case this the large numbers are I suspect mainly due to the shorters working in unison with one another and buying each other out of their short positions whilst keeping the SP artificially low.
